Commercial Recycling

Commingled recycling is just right for the busy world of work. Less sorting of materials means less time taken away from other tasks for you and your co-workers. Getting started is as simple as 1, 2, 3.

  1. Businesses can use the commingled blue carts and even Dumpster-style containers for mixed recycling. The type of container you use may be determined by the type and volume of material that you want to recycle. preparing recyclables.
  2. Choose a location for your recycling center. It should be no more than 25 feet from the street or parking lot. Larger businesses and apartment complexes may need more than one recycling center. When you decide, tell us the location(s).

While recycling is typically scheduled for weekly collection, many businesses require multiple collection days per week.

Manufacturing and construction businesses, as well as others that generate very large volumes of recyclable material, may require drop boxes to collect recycling. Special options for recycling large volumes of cardboard, wood, roofing, yard debris and clean fill can be arranged by calling our office.

Remember to buy recycled or precycled. Look for the recycled content in the things you buy, and select items with less packaging and greater durability.
